TRICARE and Medicare Payment Consultant needed to develop an Instructor-Led TRICARE and Medicare Payment Methodology Training program.
This can be a telecommute position, but the ability to attend meetings in the McLean, VA/Washington, DC area is preferred.
Candidate should be a subject matter expert on TRICARE and Medicare reimbursement methodologies and pricers. Candidate must have solid understanding and experience with the full scope of Centers for Medicare and Medicare Service (CMS) reimbursement methodologies and pricing structures including all prospective payment system (PPS) methodologies, any exceptions, and/or exemptions to those PPS methodologies, and general fee schedules and any assessment of potential future changes to specific pricing methodologies. The candidate must also be able to identify TRICARE reimbursement methodologies when different from CMS PPS or general fee schedules.
Must have strong writing skills.
This is a part-time, contract (1099), telecommute position with flexible hours. Anticipated start date on or about May 1, 2010 for a period of 5 months.
