We are seeking an experienced conference producer that can join our team as a contractor and partner with us to build world-class conferences. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely and have the necessary experience to replicate past events. With our model, producers will take part in the profit of the event with the potential of making 6 figure income from each event. At GSMI, we believe everyone should take part in the success of our events.
Strategic Management
• Building external industry-focused relationships
• Networking with key industry executives
• Development of flagship/major conferences
• Monitoring and increasing net profitability on a monthly and yearly basis
Operational Management
• Identification of key industry business issues and market trends, as well as key market figures
• Linking and monitoring all project goals against key performance indicators
• Project scheduling and risk management
• Manage project resources across multiple business units and project teams
Requirements
One or more of this type of experience (or experience that is highly comparable) is required:
• Conference production experience is highly desirable but not absolutely necessary
• Several years of market research experience (preferably B2B)
• Experience writing articles for trade journals that focus on current industry trends
• Conference development experience (determining the intellectual content of the conference, NOT the logistical planning aspect)
• Ability to conduct in-depth phone and in-person research interviews with business executives
• Experience as a journalist for a trade journal is a huge plus
• Ability to translate key business issues into profit-focused, commercially-viable conferences
• Exceptional organizational & communication skills
• Superior research and writing skills
• Strong networking & relationship building skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and enforce tight deadlines
• Bachelor and/or advanced degree
• 1-3 years people management experience

We build fun to use, gorgeously designed wedding websites for engaged couples to share stories, pictures, info about their big celebration, etc. We are a small team with a great working environment (includes dogs, random outbursts of singing, and a bit of ping pong).
Position: Community Manager (title is a bit boring, job will be cool)
Responsibilities for position:
Reading wedding blogs – keeping abreast of news/trends
Building relationships with customers/potential customers (via blog comments, proactive support, offering help/tips)
Cultivating relationships with bloggers/press for PR
Writing content for our blog, maybe some additional copywriting for site
Managing social media channels, including Twitter and Facebook
Being the [radiant] voice and face of Nearlyweds in many regards
We need someone who:
enjoys wearing a lot of hats/variety
is flexible (both in responsibilities and in personality)
is eager to take on a challenge and figure things out soup to nuts
can create process where there is none
is relational, personable, and a great communicator (primarily written)
loves weddings (or could love weddings), has a great design aesthetic
is a natural with social media
The position really should be a lot of fun. But more importantly, it will be immediate responsibility and a great entry point (or continuation point) into marketing/PR/social media. You will be given opportunity to grow and take on challenges, and will be managed honestly and well.
And for the stuff you really want to know: It starts out part-time (~15-20 hours a week) and as a contractor (we can work you through this process) @$10-$11 an hour. We hope to move it closer to full time (with benefits) over the next 6 months provided everything works out well. The first month of work, you will need to be in our office most of the time to absorb the culture, the workflow, and to build rapport and a great working relationship. Following that, working from home most of the time is acceptable. We are flexible on days in the office, or how you want to spread out the hours over the week.

We want someone that eats, breaths and lives all things media - from reading Techcrunch hourly to having a serious addiction to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn to spending way too much time on Forums, LinkedIn groups etc etc etc.
We are doing a series of meetups in the LA area but are based in NY. So we need an on the ground coordinator. This is small project work but a huge networking opportunity.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years work experience
- Understanding of the media (old, new, in flux) - media relations work a huge plus
- Understanding of the entertainment industries - key media, players, conferences etc. The kind of person that really cares what happens at SXSW and TED
- Power tool user - you embed video in your blog, always have Tweetdeck open, feel that in order to exist, you must be online
- Marketing experience - basic understanding of event management, advertising etc (just basic is fine)
- Don't need a lot of direction...you can figure things out for yourself.

HOURS: Work hours are flexible however you are required to turn in daily call logs and put in at least 30 hours per week. Restaurants and bars are open 7 days a week, and you can almost always speak with a manager during business hours. Managers will always take your call. You simply have to work around their schedule and plan your appointments.

In the last 10 years, 79% of all home loans have major legal problems/errors/fraud committed by the mortgage companies/banks. Our experienced staff performs forensic audits of home owner’s loan documents looking for legal violations and errors. Our usual audit is about 35 pages long and details the violations and mistakes in the loan documents. In many cases, when the errors/fraud/violations are pointed out to the lenders, the lenders become much more accommodating and willing to work with the home owner in renegotiating the terms of their loans.
You would become part of our customer support team assisting these home owners in their decision to have us perform an audit for them.
This is a telecommuting position which will allow you to work out of your home.
This is a commission only position. Compensation after your learning curve and training is in the $3,000 to $6,000 per month.
