General programming ability and experience with these languages is a must. Individual must also be able to work from home and will be a part of a small but fast-growing team.
Programmers work with a producer on projects for a discipline-specific editorial team. The candidate must be able to work on multiple projects at once and be responsive and communicative during all stages of their projects. This includes consistent status reporting, meetings, and general availability during standard working hours (10 a.m. 6 p.m.). The workload is typically 40 hours a week, but may be more during heavy production periods. Projects revolve around college semesters with product releases generally in the winter (for spring classes) and summer (for fall classes). The position is hourly and requires timesheet reporting.
Major Responsibilities:
Entry to intermediate level coding/scripting in XML/HTML, Perl, PHP, BASH Script, Javascript
