• Curious nature – I expect that you will be interested in learning about the different types of cases we handle so that you can deal with potential clients in a way that inspires confidence;

This means that it is not OK to work from Starbucks or to have screaming children or barking dogs in the background. The clients you speak to should be under the impression that you are sitting in our office speaking to them. Part of the interview process may involve showing us that you have a suitable home work environment available to you.
If offered the position, potential new client calls would be forwarded to you. You would be responsible for a phone interview to determine whether the case should be accepted, referred out, or rejected. If accepted, you would be responsible for scheduling the new client interview on my schedule. If referred, you would be responsible for making arrangements for the referral. If rejected, you would be responsible for providing the client with a rejection letter in order to protect the firm from a risk management perspective. You would be responsible for following up on all e-mail inquiries as well. Additionally, you will also be periodically assigned non-time sensitive projects such as settlement demand letters or research projects.
