I am currently building a proof of concept/alpha version of a web application that I am launching a company around. I am looking for a dedicated developer to do two things: spearhead the rails development process & help mentor me and my programming skills
I am currently building a proof of concept/alpha version of a web application that I am launching a company around. I am looking for a dedicated developer to do two things: spearhead the rails development process & help mentor me and my programming skills. I envision this breaking down to about 80% development and 20% mentoring. Likewise, I envision contributing 20% of the code to the project over the 6 to 8 week development phase.
I believe that this initial stage of agile development should yeild a basic working prototype that will help me raise seed funding. If the relationship works, I am hopeful that the person I work with would be interested in continued work on the project.
The project consists of a fairly simple database, real-time shared editing capabilities, and the use of a lot of existing social network APIs.
Compensation for the project is 1k / week, with weekly iterations. Pay schedules can be set up on a weekly or project basis.
