The ideal candidate must be able to work independently and in collaboration with physicians and be well-versed and motivated to provide excellent care in all areas of family, internal medicine and urgent care.
Duties may include:
* Obtain medical histories, perform comprehensive exams and treat minor injuries
* Interpret lab tests and X-rays, counsel patients, prescribe medications and carry out treatment plans
* Practice in primary care areas or surgical specialties
* Consult with physicians regarding care of patients and medical diagnostic work requested
* Provide additional consultations and other medical services as requested by the Medical Director
